At the same time, some companies have emerged from the crises better than others.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>The keyword is resilience.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>In a joint study by the RKW Competence Center and the Oskar Patzelt Foundation, our Managing Partner Christian Wewezow, together with Prof. Dr. Christina G\u00fcnther, Dr. Matthias Geisslerand Dr. Michael Banf, already examined at the beginning of this year which factors influence the resilience of an owner- and family-run company.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Using the data from the questionnaires of the Grand Prix for SMEs, it was possible to create resilience profiles for different company sizes. Resilience is defined as a company's ability to return to its original state after an external shock or to emerge from it stronger than before.\u00a0<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>The aim of the study was to offer SMEs impetus for action and to strengthen them with the help of the scientifically based findings.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>The study is now cited in a recent publication by Springer Professional. We are very pleased that the topic is now also finding favor in the specialist literature and that the findings of the study will reach more entrepreneurs.\u00a0<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>It is precisely small and medium-sized enterprises and family businesses that play a central role in our national economy.
