The integration of two companies is a multi-faceted process, which - if carried out successfully - has the potential to unleash a wide range of synergy effects. The Nissha Group had also set itself this goal. In line with its motto “Think global, act local”, Schuster Kunststoff GmbH was to be merged with Back Sticker GmbH in order to leverage operational and strategic potential in the future.
The overall merger process required several external specialists, such as a specialist law firm, an IT consultancy and an IT project manager, a large tax consultancy firm and a coach who dealt with corporate culture issues. Clockwise Consulting, under the leadership of our Managing Partner Christian Wewezow, had the task of managing the entire process and completing the integration within the specified time frame.
This role included complex tasks, such as regular exchanges with all external specialists on technical topics relating to integration, risk assessment and project management, as well as regular coordination with the local management and the Nissha Europe headquarters. In addition, Clockwise Consulting evaluated essential topics from an operational and strategic perspective and oversaw risk management and project controlling for the entire process.
The previously formulated goal of merging the two companies into Nissha Advanced Technologies Europe GmbH on schedule was achieved thanks to the close coordination of all parties involved. “Christian Wewezow and his team were always at our side during this challenging task. As some issues were not only important but urgent, the process required exceptional availability and speed in order to meet the set timeframe,” says Roland Beil, Managing Director of the newly formed Nissha Advanced Technologies Europe GmbH, about Clockwise Consulting today. “I can therefore warmly recommend working with Christian Wewezow as an experienced strategist and coach for such a special situation,” adds Roland Beil.
